Current News from RBI, 150 and 75 Ruppes coins have been launched. 100 Ruppe coin going to be launched soon according to the statement. These coins have the picture of Rabindranath Tagore on it.

India's first ever 150 Rupee coin launched on 9 may 2010 to mark the Rabindranath tagore's 150th birth anniversary. Reserve bank declared 150rs coin on Rabindranath Tagore's 150th anniversary. Now this first time in India a currency coin of Rupee 150 issued by (RBI) Reserve Bank of India.

Rupees 150 is issued by Reserve Bank of India. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary year of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The 150 Rupees coin is 40 mm in diameter and it weighs about 35 grams.

RBI Completes 75 years of glory. Rs 100 coin in memory of Commonwealth Games will also be issued. The multi faceted genius who made important and pioneering contributions to different facets of Indian culture.
